DEEPER

YOUTH CAMP 2024

Our heart behind ‘DEEPER’ YTH Camp 24

John 7:37-38 NLT

37 On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! 38 Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’”

Jeremiah 29:13 NLT

13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

We want to see YTH that are empowered, unashamed, set free, and close to God.

We know that only Jesus can bring about this life transformation and purpose.

Our heart is to see Journey YTH going DEEPER into the things of God by seeking Him and being filled by the Holy Spirit.

Now is the time to stop playing small and go all in for God.

FAQ

What sort of supervision is exercised over camp?

We will have 17 YTH leaders present.

All are 18+ years old, have current Blue Cards, and have gone through an interview process. They have all completed a Child Safety training course. A number of our leaders are trained in First Aid and CPR.

Who do I call in an emergency?

In an emergency, the best person to contact would be our Youth Pastor, Jonathan Evans - 0434 716 082.

Are phones allowed and is there reception?

Phones are permitted but there is very little reception. Also, if they become a distraction they may be collected temporarily by our leaders.

Any valuables brought to the camp are under the YTH's responsibility, we will not be replacing any stolen or damaged items.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

YTH will be allocated to a dorm based on their connect group and age. Girls and boys will be separated, and each group will have at least 1 leader in a room with them.

My child has a medical condition, what should I do with this information?

On all of our registration forms, there is a section that you can complete, informing us of all the relevant information we need to know for your child. Once you have completed this form, if you have listed any medical information for your child, we will be in contact with you to confirm any arrangements.

Will my child need any spending money?

Your child does not need to bring any spending money to camp as all meals and activities are included in your camp registration costs. However, we will be taking up an offering at camp, if your child would like to give towards that offering.
